I didnt wanted to make it so complicated and didnt think crane was a good idea but after some discussion with client and figuring out purpose of this logo I decided to give it a try. I used simple outlines of various building and house shapes, creating visually interesting skyline and integrated building crane with few details on it. With a touch of couple tree shapes it really stood out and I think it was major improvement over previous logo they had. Client was really happy with results and hope it will be even happier when it goes live.
